Job summary

Midwest Pump Works in Dundas, MN is seeking a Service Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude to service and repair municipal, industrial, and construction pump systems at our shop and at customer sites.

You will perform pump rebuilds, installations and inspections, maintain records, and respond to emergencies. This on-site role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of pump repair & maintenance experience.
• Prior service technician experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work in confined spaces (pump stations, wells, manholes).
• Clean driving record and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, evaluate, repair, and test pumps.
• Install and ensure safe operation of pump equipment with parts.
• Disassemble and repair defective pump components; perform routine maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and service schedules.
