Job summary

Baxter & Woodman is seeking a Wastewater Project Manager for our Wastewater Department. You will design wastewater facilities, manage projects, and grow business with existing clients. The role offers a path toward technical design, project management, team leadership, or business development.

Choose your location from Crystal Lake, Chicago, Naperville, IL, or Milwaukee, WI. Ideal candidates have PE licensure and a BS in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in design and project management of water/wastewater projects.
• Excellent technical writing skills and ability to lead in team environments.
• Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to moderate complexity projects.
• Plan and coordinate projects, development of plans, specs and documentation.
• Develop workplans with schedules, scopes, and budgets to deliver on time and within budget.
• Lead as project manager or lead engineer on single- and multi-discipline teams.
• Contribute to design-build and alternative project delivery methods.
• Provide design support during construction phases of projects.
• Mentor team members and coordinate project staff.
• Communicate with clients, agencies, and management; lead meetings.
• Support planning and management alignment with standards.
• Assist with proposals for professional services and project funding.
• Contribute to technical training content.
