Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our Water Team in Massachusetts. You will help develop, design, and deliver a variety of wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal clients across Massachusetts and the New England region.

The ideal candidate will lead design efforts, conduct field assessments, and coordinate with clients, internal teams, and subconsultants. 4–9 years of engineering experience and a MA-registered PE are required, with flexible hybrid work and

Qualifications

• 4–9 years of engineering experience.
• Be registered as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts or be able to reciprocity.
• Strong design, planning and construction understanding for wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for collection systems, pumping stations, and wastewater projects.
• Conduct field investigations, condition assessments, and data collection for planning and design.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Perform construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and pay applications.
• Develop project schedules and budgets and monitor deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and support proposals and new business.
