Job summary

The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District seeks a Process and Regulatory Performance Engineer to join the Operations and Maintenance team. You will provide technical support for the 50 million gallon per day Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant and help maintain reliable operations.

You will ensure compliance with regulatory permits, review emissions, prepare reports, and stay current on wastewater treatment developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least three years of professional experience related to wastewater treatment and process control.
• A Master's Degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic proficiency with mechanical and/or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the operation of the 50 million gallon per day Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory permits, reviews, and documentation.
• Monitor water and air emissions reviews, inspections, and required reports.
