Join Samsung's Operations team in Austin as an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Engineer. You will oversee treatment systems and collaborate with operators to enhance process efficiency, requiring strong engineering expertise and operational experience in wastewater management.

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Execute complete ownership and accountability of assigned transfer and/or treatment system scope, including commissioning, start-up, optimization, and sustaining operations.
- Review, refine, and execute system commissioning and startup plans, demonstrating expertise in assigned process technologies.
- Collaborate and support our operators, technicians, and the business by working closely with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team and our customers to develop, drive, and execute process improvements.
- Proactively troubleshoot critical IWT system issues, especially those related to site drain quality, during both commissioning phases and routine operations.
- Create and develop structured execution plans for field improvements, repair work, and system commissioning and start-up, ensuring activities are completed safely.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's What You'll Bring to Samsung:
Required Education and Experience:
- B.S. in Engineering field
- 3+ years of experience in an operations environment
- Working knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment processes
- Risk analysis and management
- Data-based decision-making
Preferred Experience:
- Commissioning and startup experience
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes such as biological nutrient removal, ultrafiltration, dewatering, clarification, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, thermal evaporation
