Job summary

McMahon Associates seeks a Wastewater Supervisor to oversee a 4.5 MGD Advanced Grade wastewater treatment facility, 13 lift stations, and the sanitary sewer collection system for Chippewa Falls. You will supervise 6–9 Wastewater Operators and a Lab Analyst, reporting to the Director of Public Works/Utility Manager.

Requirements include a BA/BS with 4–6 years of related experience and advance WI DNR certifications. Supervisory experience (1–3 years) preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 4–6 years related experience and/or training.
• Must possess or acquire advanced WI DNR certifications within set timeframes.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises personnel in the Wastewater Department.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and assigns work; plans, schedules, and directs activities.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems; ensures policy and legal compliance.
