Job summary

Addison Press Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Superintendent in Vermont to oversee operations, process control, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for the municipal wastewater system.

The role includes managing a team and coordinating maintenance for the SBR plant and related facilities. Qualifications include a Grade IV DM operator's certificate (Vermont), a valid Vermont driver’s license, and at least five years in wastewater with three years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Grade IV DM operator's certificate issued by the Vermont Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.
• Vermont Driver’s license.
• 5 years of increasing responsibility in wastewater treatment.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of administrative, managerial, and budgeting practices.
• Knowledge of principles and operation of a Sequential Batch Reactor facility.
• Maintenance repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and process control of the wastewater system.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Local, State and Federal rules.
• Plan and manage budgets with Directors for review and approval.
• Lead a team of operators, technicians, vendors, contractors and custodial staff.
• Coordinate maintenance for the SBR plant and associated facilities.
