Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Operator to join our team in Southbridge, MA, performing operations and maintenance at a wastewater treatment plant. Youll contribute to efficient plant performance through preventive maintenance, sample collection, and accurate reporting.

Youll need hands-on plant experience, a solid safety mindset, and the ability to use MS Office and CMMS tools. A Class II certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a wastewater treatment facility.
• Commitment to sound safety principles and practices.
• Ability to use spreadsheets and word processing; enter data into CMMS.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and sample collection.
• Prepare reports and conduct laboratory testing as needed.
• Record shift activities and adjust processes to meet targets.
