The City of Angleton is seeking an operator for sewage treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment to ensure compliance with environmental standards, requiring a keen understanding of operational procedures and safety protocols. This role demands physical stamina and problem-solving capabilities and is considered essential for emergency response.
Operates sewage treatment, sludge processor, and disposal equipment in wastewater (sewage) treatment plants to control the flow and processing of sewage.
** This position is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
