Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas Driver License; ability to obtain Water Operator License Class D within 12 months.
• Ability to read meters, records and safety permits; proper documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activated sludge plant operations, dewatering and sludge handling.
• Collect samples and conduct analyses; maintain meters and records.
• Monitor plant operation to ensure permits compliance.
• Perform duties such as adding chemicals, adjusting equipment, reading monitors and tests.
• Monitor and maintain inventory; perform related work as required.
