Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team at our Wastewater Treatment Plant in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role supports daily operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance within a busy plant environment.

The position is full-time with a 2 PM–10 PM overnight shift, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be willing to work in odors and varied conditions; one year of plant operator experience is

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of plant operator experience preferred.
• Willing to work in environments with strong odors and in hot/cold/wet conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage space for incoming wastewater and material processing.
• Perform cleanup of the area as required.
• Check tank levels to ensure space for material processing.
• Follow all safety and compliance rules and regulations; wear safety equipment.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment; may perform preventive maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklift and skid steer.
