Landmarc Environmental Systems, LLC is seeking a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator in Kansas City, MO. Operate and monitor valves, pumps, and filtration equipment, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, MO Class D license, mechanical aptitude, and basic algebra/chemistry knowledge, with willingness to work days, weekends, and overtime. Starting pay is $100,000 per year; a company car may be provided for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; vocational/technical training advantageous.
• MO Class D wastewater plant license required.
• Mechanical aptitude and reading comprehension.
• Strong problem-solving and basic algebra/chemistry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor valves, pumps, motors, digesters, and filtration equipment.
• Collect wastewater samples and perform tests for pH, chlorine, solids, and BOD.
• Record gauge readings and maintain daily logs of flows and chemical usage.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, piping, and chemical feeders.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Address alarms and outages; shift: Days, 40+ hours weekly.
• Company car provided with a clean driving record.
• Starting pay: $100K/yr.
