Under supervision, you will maintain records, run routine tests, prepare reports, use MS Office, and report unsafe conditions, with licensing and driving eligibility required and residence within 45 minutes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in plant operations, sampling, lab testing, and equipment maintenance.
• TCEQ Class D Wastewater Treatment License or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Must have valid Texas Driver License and reside within 45 minutes of the department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain plant operations and maintenance records.
• Maintain records of samples, test results, and field-testing parameters.
• Perform routine process control testing for wastewater treatment.
• Read and interpret laboratory displays and record test results.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow city policies and maintenance practices to support operations.
• Prepare reports and correspondence using Word, Excel, and Outlook.
