Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Must obtain and maintain Florida Class C Wastewater license within eighteen (18) months of employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License with any applicable endorsement(s).
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Program and maintain electrical controls, instrumentation, and equipment at wastewater treatment plants and related facilities.
• Install, program, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and electronic equipment at utility plants, including drives, meters, sensors, and control panels.
• Operate central telemetry to monitor and control lift stations; troubleshoot telemetry problems and modify configurations.
• Review, oversee, and inspect projects with electrical controls for quality and safety.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and tools; replace parts as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate requests for materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with supervisor, engineers, contractors, utilities, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
