Job summary

Agropur is seeking an experienced or in-training Wastewater Operator to manage daily operations of the plant's wastewater system. You will oversee collection, treatment and distribution of water and wastewater, ensuring compliance with discharge limits and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year wastewater treatment experience or equivalent training/certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical competency with standard wastewater equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the wastewater treatment system in compliance with discharge limits.
• Monitor controls and adjust flow, chemicals, and equipment.
• Record meter readings and maintain logs.
• Perform sampling and basic testing of wastewater processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
