Job summary

Inframark is hiring a Wastewater Operator in Training in Fort Smith, AR. You will learn to operate pumps and related equipment in water and wastewater facilities, with training provided.

Responsibilities include routine testing, process monitoring, and maintaining plant records. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; the license can be pursued within one year. CDL preferred and progression supported.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater facilities.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, and motors.
• Performs routine testing and monitoring of water/wastewater processes.
• Maintains records of plant performance and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies.
• Ensures facilities are clean and secure.
• Provides customer service as needed.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
