Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year wastewater treatment experience or equivalent training/certification preferred.
• Wastewater Operator Certification required by state agency or obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate the wastewater treatment system in compliance with discharge limits.
• Monitor wastewater treatment equipment and control panels; adjust valves to regulate flow and chemical dosing.
• Perform routine manual/remote operations and oversee sludge processing and disposal processes.
