Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years relevant wastewater experience or training.
• Class I Wastewater License (or able to acquire within 3 years).
• Class I Water License (or able to acquire within 2 years).
• Makes process reports and reads instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Tends pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum filters and other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater by settling, aeration, and sludge digestion.
• Collects samples and prepares process reports.
• Reads charts, flow meters and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions.
• May delegate tasks to supervisor or designee in absence of key personnel.
