Job summary

CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT, L.L.C. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Wastewater Operator Class 4 to operate, monitor, and maintain treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and public health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 months wastewater collections/treatment experience.
• Must hold a valid Georgia Class 4 Wastewater Operator license issued by the Georgia State Board of Examiners or the ability to secure within 12 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment plants, pumps, lift stations, and collection systems.
• Adjust valves, gates, and control systems (manual or SCADA) to regulate flow.
• Start/stop pumps, engines, and generators as needed.
• Collect wastewater samples, perform basic lab tests, and interpret results to ensure treatment effectiveness.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment equipment, pumps, valves, and collection system components
