Summary: This role involves operating and maintaining various water and wastewater treatment systems, including laboratory analysis, system adjustments, regulatory compliance, and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include sample collection, chemical analysis, system monitoring, reporting, and minor mechanical tasks. Additional duties may include groundskeeping and general maintenance.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of wastewater treatment experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must complete storm water training within 30 days and courses through California State University Sacramento within 12 months
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain higher certifications as required
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in unsanitary conditions, and handle hazardous chemicals
