Job summary

The City of Corinth is seeking a Wastewater Operations Supervisor to oversee construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the city’s wastewater collection system. The role includes supervising crew leaders, coordinating work orders, monitoring SCADA, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 5 years’ water/wastewater maintenance and 3 years of supervisory experience (preferably with Corinth).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years in water/wastewater maintenance.
• 3+ years supervisory experience, preferably with the City of Corinth.
• CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement within 12 months of hire.
• Class C Water/Wastewater Collections 2 Operator and BPAT licenses or within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wastewater operations and meet project goals and timelines.
• Monitor SCADA gauges, meters, and control panels; log readings.
• Plan and supervise operations, prioritize projects and resources.
• Assign crews, vehicles and equipment; ensure quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and safety standards.
