Job summary

PIMA COUNTY is seeking a Wastewater Operations & Maintenance Supervisor I to oversee a large conveyance system and supervise crews within Regional Wastewater Reclamation. The role ensures safe operation and maintenance of 3500+ miles of conveyance system, with duties including preventative maintenance scheduling and equipment/line cleaning.

CDL B with tanker endorsements required; responsibilities cover data reporting, safety, and coordination with multiple teams to maintain regulatory

Qualifications

• CDL B with tanker endorsements required.
• Experience supervising wastewater operations & maintenance staff.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wastewater operations staff and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Monitor, evaluates and troubleshoots process control of treatment facilities.
• Coordinate activities of crews in repair and maintenance of sewer lines.
• Plan, schedule, assign and review work for shift personnel.
• Prepare reports and data analyses; maintain logs and records.
• Use SCADA and CMMS to support operations and maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures and SDS compliance; lead safety meetings.
