Job summary

The Town of Collierville is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join the Wastewater Collection team. You will perform manual skilled work in maintenance and repair of sewer mains, laterals, manholes, and force mains, locate and mark underground utilities, and perform traffic control and flagging operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Occasional emergency response may be required during or after hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of sewer mains, laterals, manholes, and force mains.
• Locating and marking underground water/wastewater utilities.
• Traffic control and flagging operations.
• Work in and around confined spaces and trench excavations.
• Respond to emergencies during work hours and after-hours callouts.
