Job summary

A national engineering firm is seeking an Environmental Engineer specializing in wastewater treatment in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering and at least one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include project development, obtaining permits, and ensuring system compliance. Competitive compensation package and performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a similar field or internship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping and sewer design.
• Perform water and mass balance calculations.
• Develop project schedules and manage budgets.
• Specify and procure equipment; develop RFQs.
• Oversee installation and system startup.
• Obtain and evaluate site-specific permits.
• Engage with project teams to ensure compliance.

Skills

Technical writing ability

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
