Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Wastewater Engineer in our Houston, TX office to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes design of treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems, with collaboration across disciplines and direct client interaction.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of wastewater engineering experience, an active PE license, and strong skills in hydraulic modeling, design software, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in wastewater engineering, preferably municipal projects.
• Active PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare studies, design calculations, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Design wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and conveyance systems.
• Perform hydraulic analyses and system evaluations.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and support permitting and construction-phase services.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
