Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Drainage for our Tewksbury, Massachusetts office. You will lead high-profile transportation drainage projects, manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, and deliver PS&E packages with strong client collaboration.

The role requires a MA PE license, 12+ years of drainage experience, and proficiency with SWMM, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, MicroStation/ORD, and FEMA analyses. Join a global firm delivering impactful infrastructure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PE license and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 12+ years delivering transportation drainage projects and PS&E deliverables, including 3+ years in project management or task leadership.
• Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools; PS&E using MicroStation GEOPAK or ORD.
• Advanced modeling with SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and HEC-RAS 2D.
• Experience with FEMA crossing analysis and drainage impact studies.
• Experience with ORD Drainage and Utilities (DU), HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.

Responsibilities

• Lead High-Profile Projects: Oversee all aspects of transportation drainage work—from proposals and scopes of work to H&H analysis, detailed PS&E packages, and final reports.
• Deliver Results: Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain high-quality, on-time project delivery while cultivating strong client relationships.
• Provide Strategic Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients such as MassDOT, RIDOT, and Massachusetts municipalities and private entities, recommending innovative solutions to address complex drainage challenges.
• Coordinate Seamlessly: Collaborate with prime contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery aligned with client objectives.
• Drive Business Development: Support client engagement by preparing and presenting winning proposals, managing contract negotiations, and identifying opportunities for growth.

The Expertise Youll Bring (Qualifications)

• - Massachusetts PE licenseand a bachelors or masters degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• - 12+ years of experience delivering transportation drainage projects and preparing PS&E deliverables, including 3+ years in project management or task leadership.
• - Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools, as well as experience with PS&E preparation using MicroStation GEOPAK or OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and other tools
• - Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams while maintaining strong client relationships.
• - Advanced modeling expertise with tools such as SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and HEC-RAS 2D.
• - Experience with FEMA crossing analysis, drainage impact studies, and TCEQ water quality design.
• - Experience with ORD Drainage and Utilities (DU), HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

At Egis, we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process, we've included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $130,000 – $170,000 annually.
