Job summary

Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. is seeking a full-time Wastewater Engineer in Coralville, IA to work on civil, municipal, and environmental projects.

The professional will collaborate with engineers, CAD technicians, construction observers, land survey staff, and office personnel in various capacities. The candidate should hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree with a preference for a Master’s, and bring 10+ years of environmental design experience, including wastewater and drinking water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental engineering design experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business development, including initiating client contacts and preparing project proposals.
• Client contact, including attendance at board or council meetings.
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.
• Work with construction observers/resident technicians during all facets of construction.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with Engineers, CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.
