Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Technician to join our facility-based team in the United States. The role focuses on waste management, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe work environment in the wastewater treatment system and related equipment.

You will perform daily system checks, operate pumps and sensors, maintain logs, and support EHS initiatives and Kaizen events while adhering to company policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain RCRA (annual) and DOT (every three years) certifications.
• Forklift and man lift certifications required.
• Lockout Tagout Training.
• Confined Space Training.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Waste management and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., RCRA).
• Prepare internal and external reports.
• Operate and maintain the on-site wastewater treatment system, ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
• Perform and record daily system checks, flow rates, pH levels, and chemical dosing.
• Maintain equipment logs, service records, and maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and alarms in wastewater and fume scrubber system.
• Assist with EHS initiatives and Kaizen events.
