Chevron Pasadena Refinery seeks a Lead Environmental Specialist - Waste & Water to provide technical leadership and day-to-day environmental compliance support. You will oversee waste and water programs, coordinate regulatory deliverables, and mitigate environmental risk while driving continuous improvements in field execution.

This role requires strong knowledge of RCRA requirements, regulatory experience in refinery settings, and a proven ability to collaborate across Operations, Maintenance,

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience supporting environmental compliance in refinery/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of RCRA waste management and water/wastewater regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead waste-management programs including hazardous, industrial, non-hazardous, and recyclable waste streams.
• Provide guidance on RCRA and Texas waste requirements; maintain waste profiles and documentation.
• Lead wastewater and water compliance activities, sampling, and reporting; support spill response.
• Oversee environmental support during turnarounds, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Direct contractors and environmental service providers to ensure compliant, cost-effective work.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and coordinate inspections, reports, and corrective actions.
