Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Utility Operator to perform a variety of operational tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment to support its disposal process. The role requires safely handling equipment, managing refuse and fuel levels, and coordinating with delivery trucks.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and the ability to work rotating shifts; successful applicants will contribute to safe, efficient facility operations and the company’s sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is charged for operation and manage refuse fuel in boiler hoppers and equipment.
• Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit.
• Load ash using industrial equipment.
• Supervise and observe delivery trucks at the tipping floor.
• Operate front end loaders to manage refuse and materials.
• Inspect delivered refuse and determine disposal process.
• Monitor inbound/outbound traffic for delivery trucks.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe facility operations.
