Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Waste Technician to manage recycling, reuse, and reclamation tasks, maintaining logs and supporting safety protocols. The role emphasizes professional communication with team members and customers, with emphasis on environmental compliance and efficient material handling.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience, CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus, and a valid driver's license.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Job Overview

Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent combination of training and experience - preferred

Certificates, Licenses** , Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus. May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified. May be required to have Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA. Completed all safety and task training certifications

Knowledge, Ability, Skills:

Compensation and Shift:

M-F 7am-3:30pm (possible OT)

$19-$20 per hour
