Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services is seeking a Waste Coordinator in Troutdale, OR to oversee day-to-day waste management and coordinate with the Waste Services team to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient operations. You will manage waste profiling, data entry in Waste LINQ, and support on-site inspections, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and DOT/HAZWOPER expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong safety‑first mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with 49 CFR 171 and 40 CFR 265 requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and follow policies
• Use Waste LINQ for data entry, manifests, printing, and reporting
• Manage waste profiling and submit profiles to TSDFs for approval
• Assist with on-site 10-day waste activities and record keeping
• Coordinate waste pickups and deliveries to TSDFs with Sales/Operations
• Perform lab packing, waste sampling, and inventory activities
• Oversee branch non-Haz/VSQG bulking and drum re-packaging
• Collaborate with Operations and GMS on ER waste handling
• Liaise with GHD/UPRR to ensure timely waste activities
• Audit manifests for accuracy and provide training as needed
• Review third-party vendor invoices and support pricing for RFPs
• Perform other related duties as assigned
