The City of Boca Raton is seeking a Public Works Sanitation Worker to perform manual collection of refuse, recyclables, and bulky items in residential and commercial areas. You will operate packer equipment, direct traffic, and assist with unloading at disposal sites, working outdoors in all weather under supervision.

Requirements include six months of heavy manual labor experience, a valid Florida Class E driver’s license with minimal points, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a busy

Qualifications

• Six months of experience performing heavy manual labor.
• Valid Florida Class E driver's license with no more than six points in a three-year period.
• Abstained from tobacco products for at least one year prior to hire and during employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around traffic.
