Job summary

LRS is seeking a CDL driver in Rochester, MN to safely operate heavy‑duty trucks for waste and recycling pickups. You will follow safety rules, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain route accuracy while ensuring customer sites stay clean and organized.

Eligible applicants must have a Class B CDL with a valid DOT medical card, be at least 18, and pass pre‑employment testing. English proficiency is required for communication with Dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
• No DUI/OVI within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• No license suspensions within the last 2 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• Must pass pre-employment testing.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty trucks with front or rear load lift attachment to pickup waste or recyclables.
• Perform pre- and post‑trip inspections and document checks.
• Immediately report unsafe situations or service issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Complete end‑of‑day documentation and receipts for routes.
• Position and return containers on customer properties with lids properly replaced.
• Dump containers completely and ensure sites are clean and free of debris.
