Job summary

Southern Ohio Cleanup Company LLC is seeking a Waste Management supervisor to oversee site operations, ensuring safe, cost-effective and compliant waste management services. The role involves directing hazardous materials handling, budgeting, and coordinating with management and client representatives.

The ideal candidate will lead staff, train site personnel, manage subcontractors, and ensure readiness of the emergency response program while adhering to safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing hazardous materials handling and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and supervision of staff in a safety-focused environment.
• Ability to plan, organize, and budget resources while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and organize work to meet contract, quality, and budget requirements.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate for executing the scope of work.
• Instruct and coach employees on work methods and performance expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivate subordinate personnel while coordinating with senior management.
• Develop or update plans, policies or procedures for hazardous materials management.
