Responsibilities

• Accept or reject waste loads based on content and advise on alternatives based on special waste, type of waste, and local market training.
• Document waste entering the facility using truck scales and computer systems; track total amount of waste.
• Balance daily receipts to ensure accurate recordkeeping and proper billing; deposit daily receipts into depository.
• Notify operations of special loads; dispatch or direct as necessary; complete required paperwork for processing special loads.
• Answer telephone and provide general information to callers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
