Job summary

Qualifications

Ten years of experience or education related to the duties of the position.
Data analysis, management, and reporting skills.
Ability to apply regulations, policies, and laws to program work.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience guiding cross‑functional teams and mentoring staff.
Ability to identify actions and carry tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

Lead data work across the Solid Waste Management Program, tracking indicators for waste generation and recycling.
Plan and oversee major statewide studies from scoping to final results.
Guide cross‑program data teams and maintain online progress reports.
Provide data-based recommendations to leaders to support policy decisions.
Mentor data specialists and improve reporting through new tools and processes.
Develop and implement new reporting metrics as laws evolve.
