Job summary

HUBER TECHNOLOGY LLC in Denver, CO seeks a Wash Bay Loader/Washer to receive equipment and stainless steel parts, load/unload pallets, operate pressure washers, and ensure safety and quality. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to PPE and sanitation standards in a wash bay environment.

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with occasional overtime. The position involves lifting up to 100 pounds, rigging, overhead crane use, and daily maintenance to keep the facility

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of rigging experience.
  • Two years of overhead crane operation.
  • Basic knowledge of operating a pressure washer.

Responsibilities

  • Receive stainless steel parts and materials from the manufacturing area.
  • Load/unload pallets and organize into pre-wash and post-wash areas.
  • Identify quality issues and report to supervisor.
  • Load stainless steel materials into the pickling basket after pre-wash.
  • Operate pressure washers to clean stainless steel materials, parts and pieces.
  • Record quantities of materials received for pickling.
  • Perform daily facility maintenance and upkeep.

Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY

This position receives equipment, spare parts and stainless steel pieces, coming from the production area. Precision and safety in the handling of parts, as well as such as proper use of PPE. Responsible operation of lifting and material handling equipment. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to high product quality without jeopardizing physical safety. Performs quality inspections before dispatching material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for receiving stainless steel parts, materials or pieces from manufacturing area.
  • Load/unload pallets and containers, organize and place them into the stationary area assigned for pre-wash and post-wash.
  • Any potential quality issues or surface blemishes discovered prior to pre-washing must be brought to the attention of the Pickling Plant Supervisor.
  • Load stainless steel materials into the pickling basket after pre-wash.
  • Operate pressure washers to wash stainless steel materials, parts, and pieces.
  • Applying degreasers and cleaning solvents using assigned PPE and following all safety rules and handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Use overhead cranes to move, load/unload stainless steel materials, parts and pieces into or out of the basket and monitor the crane during the pickling process.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received for pickling via appropriate methods.
  • Perform daily facility maintenance, cleanliness and organizational activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position involves working in a wash bay environment with the use of industrial washing and cleaning equipment. Occasional outdoor, loud noise, fumes and chemicals exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks. May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a regular Full-Time benefit eligible position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday – Friday,

6:00am to 2:30pm unless otherwise required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.

Three years of prior rigging experience. Two years of overhead crane operation experience. Basic knowledge of operating a pressure washer
