Job summary

Prime, Inc. seeks team members for its detail shop with an overnight Wednesday–Saturday 5:30pm–5:30am shift. The role emphasizes cleaning, stripping decals, inventory upkeep, and forklift operation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

No prior experience is required, and Prime offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, 401k match, and wellness programs. Applicants must pass a post-offer physical and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle cleaning or housekeeping is a plus.
• Ability to work nights and weekends required.
• Must have a strong work history and be flexible with shift times.

Responsibilities

• Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums and equipment to meet service expectations.
• Use cleaning agents to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
• Strip decals from trucks and trailers for sale and maintain inventory.
• Move trucks and trailers around the yard and drive a forklift when needed.

Shift needed:

Overnights

Wednesday - Saturday 5:30pm - 5:30 am shift

Responsibilities

• Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer assistance as needed.
• Strip decals from trucks and trailers to prepare for sale.
• Discard any garbage left inside trucks and/or trailers.
• Maintain inventory.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Use laundry facility as required.
• Removal of load locks, chains & tanker equipment.
• Box, inventory, store & mail of personal items left in trucks.
• Jump-start vehicles.
• Move trucks and trailers around the yard as needed.
• Drive a forklift.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and safety requirements for a safe work environment.
• Performs related work assigned by supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge

Vehiclecleaning or housekeepingexperience is a plus.

Abilities

Must have a strong work history. Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends required.

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant forward reaching, grasping and finger manipulation; also requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and hand control. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and push and pull up to 15lbs. Applicants must be confident with working off of ladders.

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

Licensing/Certification

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work. Candidates must be able to obtain forklift certification.
