Job summary

Prime Inc. in Decatur, IN, is hiring for a physically demanding tanker wash position with no prior experience required. You will wash the interiors and exteriors of tanker trailers and assist with basic maintenance of tools and equipment in a fast-paced yard.

The role involves a 12-hour shift schedule (4-on, 3-off) with potential nights and weekends, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and clear communication. Training is provided on-site.

Qualifications

Knowledge

Basic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required

Abilities

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated & able to work well alone and/or in a team. Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills & be able to work flexible hours (12 hour shifts) possibly including nights and weekends.

Experience, Education, And Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Physical Requirements

This position is very physical and requires the ability to perform strenuous activity for long periods of time. This position requires constant forward reaching, grasping and finger manipulation; also requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and hand control. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs and push and pull up to 100lbs. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
