Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from CAATE-accredited program.
• Unrestricted state license/registration/certification to provide healthcare per state practice acts.
• BOC certification passing score and NPI.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant athletic trainer experience.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned units at BDE/BN/CO level.
• Provide forward musculoskeletal care, early medical intervention, and performance optimization.
• Ensure medical treatment is supervised by a licensed government provider.
• Observe training events at ranges, obstacle courses, and combat training areas.
• Hike austere environments and terrain while carrying a backpack with supplies on occasion.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED certification (AHA/ARC).
• Communicate in English with trainees and staff, orally and in writing.
• Operate Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation.
• Participate in government education and in-service training.
• Engage in continuing education to meet AT license renewal requirements.
