Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking a Restoration Technician to help homes and businesses recover from water and fire damage. You will operate equipment, load vehicles, and work within a team that emphasizes safety and clear communication.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and able to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and handle cleaning agents. A valid driver’s license is required with opportunities for growth in a nationwide franchise.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, in tight spaces.
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards, job-site findings, equipment and tool requirements to supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to grow within the SERVPRO Brand.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and set up staging area and equipment.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• End-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and leave site with a clean and orderly appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damage, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO Brand and grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• Perform end‑of‑day/end‑of‑job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required. Candidates must be eligible to drive on behalf of the Company in accordance with Company policy and insurance requirements.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.

Days, Afternoons, and Weekend shift openings.

Pay

starts at $18-22 an hour based on experience.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
