Job summary

Campers Inn RV in Clarksville, IN is seeking a Warranty Writer to join our team full-time. You will work with manufacturers and our service technicians to obtain repair authorizations, file and track warranty claims, and communicate effectively to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contacts manufacturers and OWM’s to obtain authorization to perform repairs.
• Applies for payment after authorization and repairs are completed.
• Follows up on collecting warranty payments.
• Work closely with technicians to understand and relay needed repairs to manufacturers.

Essential Job Functions

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience:
  • A minimum of one year’s RV service experience preferred
• Abilities:
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Solid communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate effectiveness working with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
