Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Warranty & Root Cause Technician I to troubleshoot, repair, and document rejected transmission assemblies from the production line. The role focuses on warranty transmissions and dealer returns, with emphasis on data logging and cross-functional communication.

The position is a full-time on-site role in Hillside, IL, offering advancement opportunities and benefits. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, use basic hand tools, and follow safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic hand tools including powered impact wrenches and torque wrenches.
• Basic computer knowledge; ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to read and communicate in English; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair rejected transmission assemblies from production line.
• Inspect and process warranty transmissions and other dealer returns.
• Log all findings in the required databases.
• Communicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel.
• Keep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computers.
• Stay up to date regarding product and process changes.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Root Cause & Warranty Technicianto join our rapidly evolving team!The Root Cause & Warranty Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting rejected transmission assemblies using test data and previous repair history as a guide.

Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair rejected transmission assemblies from production line
• Inspect and process warranty transmissions and other dealer returns
• Consistently and accurately log all findings in the required databases
• Communicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as required
• Keep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computers
• Stay up to date regarding product and process changes
• Stay up to date with and follow all required safety guidelines and procedures
