Job summary

The North America Quality organization at Stellantis NV is seeking a Control Tower & Field Quality Engineer for Engine Systems (ICE/ePT) at the QEC in Auburn Hills, MI. You will coordinate schedules, meetings, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders in propulsion and engine development.

Responsibilities include leading warranty issue resolution, triage for engines, containment actions, and occasional travel to plants and supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years in Product Engineering or Product Development of Internal Combustion Engines.
• 2+ years in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design and data acquisition.
• Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Excel and Project; familiarity with Teamcenter and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross functional project meetings and coordinate project schedules, agendas, minutes and correspondence.
• Lead resolution of warranty-related issues with problem solving, validation and weekly progress.
• Lead triage for assigned engines – warranty claims analysis and testing.
• Establish short and long-term containment actions for warranty issues.
• Travel to engine/vehicle plants and supplier locations domestically and internationally.
