Job summary

Carter Lumber seeks a Cabinet Installer/Service Technician to perform warranty cabinet repairs and deliver excellent customer service. Knowledge of cabinets and installation is essential, with a strong commitment to meeting customer expectations.

The role requires following directions, solving problems, and maintaining safety on job sites. Training and certification in the repair area are expected to ensure top-quality service for customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cabinets and installation is essential.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and solve problems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate Carter pickup truck and van.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder up to 32 ft.
• Must pass Carter Lumber employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repairs: Analyzes jobsite prior to beginning a job to ensure that quality repairs can be done. Uses appropriate tools to repair warranty products and conducts cabinet performance tests; maintains safe work environment on site.
• Customer Service: Treat customers with respect and deliver high-quality workmanship with timely completion and attention to detail.
• Knowledge & Training: Acquire training to repair products safely and become certified in the area to provide the best service.
