Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an automotive dealership.
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must pass background check and hair follicle drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims and ensure timely submission.
• Handle and resolve claim corrections and charge-backs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer warranty representatives.
• Review warranty repair orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies to maximize the claim process.
• Flag technicians for hours earned on services performed.
• Check repair orders against vehicle history to avoid duplicates.
• Provide weekly claim status reports to the service manager.
• Report fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims.
• Audit warranty schedules and address adjustments or write-offs.
• Assist service consultants in closing open warranty ROs.
• Assist with warranty questions and other related duties.

Job Details

Job Location: Porsche Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA 15213, The Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims. This includes preparing, recording, reconciling warranty claims, and submitting them to the appropriate party.

Responsibilities

• Process all claims by the next business day following the RO finish date
• Handle and resolve all claim corrections and charge-backs
• Establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer's designated warranty representatives
• Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the policies and procedures
• Analyze problems, identify trends and develop strategies for maximizing the claim process
• Flag the technicians for the hours earned on the service they performed
• Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims
• Provide a weekly report to the service manager regarding the claim status
• Report any fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims
• Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, review all old claims and address any adjustments or write-offs
• Assist service consultants in closing all open warranty ROs
• Assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions
• Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as requested
• Review and manage all aging schedules and reports
• Performs other duties as assigned
