Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group is seeking a Warranty Administrator at our Elmhurst dealership to prepare warranty claims, submit paperwork to manufacturers, and track outcomes. This onsite role requires a high school diploma and 1+ year dealership or OEM experience, proficiency with PC-based software and invoicing, and the ability to coordinate parts with vendors and recalls. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience working in dealerships or with OEMs.
• Prior experience managing warranty claims from start to finish a must.
• Ability to operate and understand various PC-based programs and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor.
• Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
• Verify criteria required by factory or distributor.
• Track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and disposal date.
• Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or scrapped.
• File and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor.
• Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.

We're looking for a Warranty Administrator who will prepare warranty documents, submit paperwork to the manufacturer, and track claims and follow up as necessary. You will also be responsible for scheduling warranty appointments, coordinating with vendors for replacement parts, and keep up-to-date on factory recalls and announcements. This role is based onsite at our Elmhurst dealership.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually.Compensation will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications, and education.
