Job summary

Phillips Staffing in Pendleton, SC is seeking an experienced Weaving Technician to join a premier textile team. You will operate and maintain looms, repair ward ends, and inspect fabrics to ensure quality. The role requires a high school diploma and weaving or textile experience, plus the ability to stand for long periods.

Shift is 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 12am to 8am, with pay of $21.54 per hour. Qualified candidates will work in a safety-conscious environment and contribute to quality control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous weaving or textile experience required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Follow dress code including PPE guidelines as specified for the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain looms by repairing ward ends and fixing filling breaks.
• Inspect fabrics twice per shift.
• Patrol and inspect back of looms for mat-ups, low warps and laps.
• Maintain and catalog loom stoppages.
• Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards.
• Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned looms by repairing ward ends and fixing filling breaks
• Inspecting fabrics twice per shift
• Patrolling and inspecting back of looms for mat-ups, low warps and laps
• Maintaining and cataloging all loom stoppage
