Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a global flooring leader, is seeking a Warp Changer to perform loom beam removal, installation, and maintenance tasks in the weaving department. The role requires physical ability, basic manual dexterity, and adherence to safety standards within a fast-paced production environment.

The position reports to the Weaving department leadership and collaborates with Material Coordinators to ensure efficient beam changes and timely production flow.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write as indicated on the application.
• Prior weaving or beamer operator experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work assigned schedule and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Removes/replaces loom beams using tie-in equipment.
• Check warp out paper for warp outs.
• Remove empty beam from loom and loosen bolts with breaker bar.
• Install loom beam in loom and rack/tie beams.
• Grease/oil harness drives, bearings, and beam stand; clean under loom.
• Operate warp truck to transport loom beams and load new beams.

Education

Weaver or Beamer operator experience (preferred)
